Mrs. Verna Conner and child-

We have received word from
our daughter, Billye Helen that
her husband, Jess, had pneu-
monia; also little Jimmy had
mumps and Jesse Loyd was still
sick. A letter received later
stated they were all better.
Mrs Dutch Smith visited Mrs.
Luther Jernigan Monday morn-
ing. Mrs. Jernigan wasn’t feel-
ing so well but she was cheerful
and it always makes one feel
better after visiting her. She
is a wonderful person and to
know her to to love her.

We were blessed with a won-
derful rain test week. We re-
ceived between four and five
Inches of rain and every drop
was needed. The grain to really
looking good now.
Mr and Mra Terrell Casbeer
and Mr. and Mrs R. A Cox
attended a Mulligan Supper at
Shaw Bend last Saturday night.
Mra Jane Stubblefield. Ernest
Wilson and the writer were
honored with a birthday supper
in the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Laughlin. We all received
so many nice gifts and will
always remember our "35th"
birthday.
Mra Henry Curtis entertained
the club with a covered dish
luncheon last Thursday.^
