Bertram Murphy, M. of Goldth-
waite, were held at 2 o’clock
Wednesday afternoon, Decem-
ber 2, in Wilkins Funeral Chap-
el Services were conducted by
Bev Alvis M Bell, pastor of the
First Baptist Church of Mullin.
Mr Murphy was born March
1*. 1893 at Halletsville, Texas,
son of the late Martha Susan
Longly Murphy and Steven
Murphy He passed away in a
local hospital Sunday morning,
November 29, 1959 He was pre-
ceded in death by two sons,
Kenneth and Marvin S Murphy
He was married to Mettle Su-
san McConal at San Saba July
27. 1917. They mved to Goldth-
waite from Benavides October 1.
1959 He was a member of the
Baptist Church
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. J
B Murphy of Goldthwaite;
three daughters, Mrs. Helen Jet-
ton of San Antonio, Mrs. Wanda
