Valadez, indicted by a Brown
County grand jury in July 12,
1963. in the shooting of Adolfo
H Romero of Brownwood, was
sentenced to 25 years in prison
after the district court verdict
of guilty.

mero was shot dead by Valadez
during a disturbance at 1201
