the stocking, cut if off near each
end of the sponge, miter it and
use safety pins to fasten it at
each end. Now. if you are a per-
fectionist and want to hand sew
this nylon on each end of the
sponge, that’s fine.
Make at least three of these
while you are at it.
Put one in your kitchen to use
for dishes, etc. The sponge holds
the water and suds and picks up
the drips that nylon alone won’t
do.
Put another in your bathroom.

Dear Heloise:
For the average (or larger)'
size families who have a limit-
ed towel space in the bathroom,
place an extra clothes hamper
in this room. It will take up
very little space.
Put about two dozen (more or
less) towels in the center of the
hamper and a few rolls of
toilet tissue at each end, if your
hamper is rounded. Just fits
that small space on each end.
This will eliminate running to
the linen closet whenever a
clean towel is needed by a
member of the family.

Dear Heloise:
I find that when I want to
line a pan with foil, I save time,
and have no accidental splits or
tears in the foi, if I turn the
pan bottom side up and press
the foil down smoothly to the
outside of the pan with the flat
of my hand.,
I then lift the molded foil
from the outside and just drop
it into the inside of the pan. .
So easy, and with a bit of !
practice, it to real speedy.
