Raymond Cooper, administrator

heard more and more in hospi-

With respiratory, ailments caus-

with Hong Kong flu vaccine in
short supply, visitors are still
flocking to the crowded rooms
and corridors to see their bed-

Farmer Reports
When a conservation practice
is approved for cost - sharing by
the Wood County ASC Committee,
the farmer is notified he must
completion of the practice by a
given date.
Vice chairman Floyd L. Wil-
liams of the Wood County ASC
Committee reminds farmers
that it is important to report to
the county ASCS office by that
date. “When the county commit-
tee approves a cost - sharing
practice under the Agricultural
Conservation Program, we allo-
cate county ACP funds to help
pay for the practice. If we do
not got a comhpletion report, the
cost-share funds can be re-alloca-
ted for other conservation prac -
tices on other farms.”
Of course, our county ASCS of-
fice reminds farmers of comple-
tion dates, but basically it Is the
responsibility of the farmers to
notify the county office by the
deadline or before, if possible.
The Vice-Chairman added, no
extension can be given beyond
December 31, 1968 AU practices
must be completed by this date
for the 1968 calendar year, and
reported by January 13, 1969.
He said notification of comple-
tion of a practice can be made
by bringing or 'mailing the offi-
cial form furnished, with signa-
ture plus completing the form
as instructed, to the Wood County
ASCS Office.
