sorority on the campus of Iowa
Wesleyan College.
It now has some 165,000 mem-
bers in 4,200 chapters covering
Canada and all fifty of the United
States, with Chapter CU located
in Mineola.
Members of PEo. Chapter CU
met Tuesday in the home of
Mrs. David Lott, on Peachtree
Drive, for luncheon and a Foun-
ders’ Day playlet.
Mrs. John Scott was program
chairman for the meeting, which
recognized 1969 as a very special
year for P.E.O.

chang? of vows, and “The Lord’s
Prayer” as the couple knelt st
the altar.
Immediately following the cere-
mony, a reception was held in
the Fellowship Hall of the church
with the house party including
Miss Shirley Moore of Kilgore,
Mrs. James English of Tyler,
Mrs. Jeffrey Smith of Commerce,
and Miss Debbie Caffey of Min-
eola. The bride’s table was cov-
ered with a white satin cloth,
, overlaid with white net, with a
satin border with wedding bells
on each corner and in the center.
An arrangement of yellow pom-
pons and white gladioli provided
- the centerpiece.
For a short wedding trip, the
bride wore a blue wool dress
coat with matching aecessories.
