Rev. Hoemann was a Wharton visi-
tor last Sunday. He went their to fill
an appointment for Rev. Streckfuss, of
the Lutheran congregation of that place.
He reports a good day there and a fine
meeting.
Mr. Q. E. Carter left Monday night
for Lockhart, where he has accepted a
position in the "Corner Drug Stor" of
that city. His numerous friends here
regret to see him leave Sealy but all
wish him well in his new location.
Attorney C. O. Glenn, who represen-
ted Sealy Camp. W. O. W at the State
encampment at Mineral Wells last
