Deadline for Reservation, June 6- Register your children now for the Houston Ar-
boretum Summer Program for 7-12 year olds. Four week-long classes run June 9
through August 8. Water World, Habits and Habitats, Weather, and Homemade
Heritage Each class is a week long and the same topics are geared for specific age
groups. The fee is $15 per week per child. Call 681-8433 for more information and a

Through June • There ate all sorts of tours and canoe trips every weekend at the Big
Thicket, For complete information call the Big Thicket Museum (713)274-5000. There
are all-day tours, shorter interpretive tours, and tours of various trails. There are also
canoe trips. The Big Thicket Museum is in Saratoga on Highway 770, and although
the hikes and canoe trips are on Saturday and Sunday, the museum is open Tuesday
through Saturday and closed Mondays.
Other staff members are reporters from participating Attaway Newspapers who
will contribute material regularly.
