Judge Parker vowed to be "a fulltime judge"
to handle as many cases as possible in the new
court, saying he and Judge Bole* will be getting
together soon to transfer many cases from the
district court docket to the new Court at Law.
And Judge Wall revealed that local officials
plan to ask the Texas Legislature to amend the
legislation creating the court to expand its
jurisdiction in 1905 to allow it to take even more

of the Legislature last year, effective Jan. 1, and
given authority to handle civil lawsuits Involving
