Rodeo winners included Lar-
ry Mahan of Dallas, who took
the saddle bronc riding average
for $427. Mahan also won $159 in
the second go-round of bare-
back riding, and was named all
around cowboy at the rodeo.
Biggest winner, however,
was Greg Winham of Rush
Springs, Okla., who was first in
calf roping for $1,387. Winham’s
total time on two calves was
19.6 seconds.
Sandy Kirby of Greenville,
Texas, took first in bull riding
with an 80-point ride on “T 1"
for $796. Pete Gay of Mesquite,
Texas, was second for $659,
which moved him to the lead in
the event standiilgs with $8,485.
Tom Elliott of Peyton, Colo ,
was first in steer wrestling for
$627, with a total time on two of
12.5 seconds. And Chris LeDoux
of Kaycee, Wyo., swept both
