er — have had plenty of rain and
everything is growing, including

doing double duty gathering their
tomatoes, and trying to keep their

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lloyd Wood

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Odom at-
tended graduation exercises in
Palestine last Friday evening.
Their son Fred's daughter was in
the graduating class.
Saturday they accompanied Mrs.
Odom's brother, the McBrooms,
to Hillsboro for a lew days visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Foster Grisham
and daughter of Dallas, recently
visited Mr. and Mrs. Emmett
Grisham.
Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Burk and
family were in Rusk last Satur-
day and paid the L. H. Evans fam-
ily a brief visit.
Miss Bessie Moore, who teacher
at Sanderson, is at home for the
summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Jess Sorrells re-
cently spent a weekend in Dallas
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mc-
Clung and family.
Frank Luther Sewall and fam-
ily, who have been in Guam for
some two years, but now of Ft.
Worth, are visiting Frank Luther's
mother, Mrs. Bessie Williamson.
Wylie Payne of Houston visited
relatives here a few days last
