Rules:
The Number Game is a $25 weekly give-away contest sponsored by the Empire Tribune and
participating merchants.?
During the contest, participating merchants will post winning numbers in their businesses, and
contestants will attempt to match a number printed on their copy of the Empire Tribune with the
numbers posted in the businesses.
The $25 in cash prizes will be awarded on the basis of $13, $7 and $5 during each week of the contest.
The weekly contest will be broken down into three sections, with a deadline of noon Tuesday for
aarding a $13 prize, a deadline of noon Thursday for awarding the $7 prize and a Saturday noon
deadline for the $5 prize
The contest will be open to anyone who obtains a copy of the Empire Tribune except employees and
families of the newspaper’s staff. The Empire Tribune will be the only judge of the contest, that the
first person to personally match the number imprinted on their newspaper with the number posted
in the store will be the only winner in that part of the contest. No duplicate prizes will be awarded.
