Cherokee County Tuberculosis As-
sociation met Friday, July 17th
in the County Court Room with 17
members present. Mrs. Ralph Kel-
ler. President, presided, and htl-
nterous reports from representa-
tive board members were heard.

Rites Held
In Houston
J. R. (Alec) Alexander passed
away at 10:30 Monday night in
the Methodist Hospital in Hous-
ton after an extended illness.
Funeral services were Wednes-
day afternoon at 2:00 in the Ho-
ward Funeral Home at Glenda
Park.
Mr. Alexander was a member
of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Maxie Norwood Alexander; one
daughter, Mrs. Nancy Albright
and one son, Jimmy Alexander all
of Glenda Park.
