NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
In hi'ftfi school our principal goal
should be education. But nlwo are
there other achievements to be
met. An example of this might
be adhering to the cliche - "A
sound mind in a «wind laidy," I.e.
we should also build our bodies
just ns our minds are bullí in
school. Another example might,
as well be attaining the ability
to get along with people. We
can surely have no earlier chance
to know people as they are. This
truth not only applies to our own
age-group, but also to our teach-
ers.
Since theory is oí little avail un-
less accompanied by effective
practice, the Eagles' Echo is tak-
ing steps to help close the gap
between its faculty and students.
At a recent meeting of the Echo
a program was approved which
will, I hope, acquaint the student
Jxxly better with its teachers
thiough a series of interviews
that will appear in the Echo. The
program will be ably headed by
Sue Boone. Will Rogéis once said,
"I never knew a man I didn't
like." Perhaps, If we knew peo-
ple, people could get along much
better.
