Dear Friends:
It is with great pleasure that Zacharias Frankel Lodge announces the forth-
coming testimonial dinner honoring Mr. David Nathan as an outstanding
citizen of our community. His activities as a civic leader and humanitarian
are well known to us all and the Lodge is especially cognizant of those activi-
ties which have done so much to promote Brotherhood, one of B'nai Brith's
most important aims.
Serving as Master of Ceremonies for the occasion will be Mr. Edward
Schreiber. Following comments by Mr. David Leavell, an award from B'nai
Brith will be presented to Mr. Nathan by Mr. Adrian F. Levy, Sr.
The principal address will be delivered by Colonel Marvin Hurley, Executive
Vice-President and General Manager of the Houston Chamber of Commerce.
Colonel Hurley is well known to many Galvestonians in public service.
Musical interludes will be enjoyed during the evening.
The dinner will be held at 7:00 P. M., March 3, 1955, in the Ruth Cohen Frisch
Hall of the New Temple B'nai Israel. Since the seating capacity is limited to
350 persons, we urge you to make your reservations promptly as the affair will
be opened to the public thru the press in the very near future. Reservations
must be accompanied by a remittance of $5. 00 per person and may be obtained
from the following:
