Discussion by juniors
Next Thursday night is the regular
meeting of the directors of the Cham
her of Commerce and they are anxious
for a large number of our business
men and citizens of tlie county to
meet willi them at that linn- The re-
sults of the two road conferences hel |
the preceding Wednesday will be dis
cussed and a policy of tut ure action
decided upon. There will also be a
discussion of a plan for tlie market-
ing of truck and fruit grown in this
section that, if found practical is
promised, will give that industry a
great boost in tills county.
A representative of a Kansas City
wholesale produce house will be pres-
ent and present (he plan. Every citi-
zen who is interested in tlie develop-
ment of the truck and fruit interests
of tlie county should attend. This is
one of our greatest undeveloped re-
sources and it is thought now tii.d
a plan has been evolved that is prac-
tical and will work out for the ben-
efit of all concernedt.
