DO YOU FEEL THAT:
The existing Texas Constitution should be revised?
The new Constitution should be more general than the
existing one, leaving many areas for the Legislature to pass
on by statute?
The new Texas Constitution should be as similar to the
United States Constitution as possible?
Representatives and Senators should be elected for four-year
terms?
The Legislature sh u!d be allowed to call itself into Session?
The Governor should be the chief budgetary officer of the
state?
The present constitutional prohibition on the state's ability to
incur debt should be maintained?
The new Constitution should continue to earmark certain
taxes and revenues, such as motor vehicle registration and
gasoline taxes for highway construction?
Property should be taxed in proportion to its market value?
Charitable institutions should be required to pay property
taxes?
Garnishment of wages should be prohibited?
Wages should be garnished for child support?
The appellate courts should review both civil and criminal
cases instead of the two separate systems that now exist?
Justice of the Peace courts and constables should be
retained?
Cities and counties should be allowed to contract with each
other for delivery of services such as police and fire
protection?
