Brigham- Evans Vows -Read
In Lovely Church Ceremony
At 7 p.m. June 23. Brenda
Kay Brigham was united in
marriage to Edward Donald
Evans at the Seventh Day
Adventist Church in Exeter.
California.
The bride is the daughter of
Dr. and Mrs. Floyd Brigham,
formerly of Rusk, and the
granddaughter of Dr. Edgar
Brigham of this city and Mrs.
Libbie Faseler of Alto. The
bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Donald Evans also of
Exeter.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a gown
of white taffeta overlaid with
nylon chiffon. The bodice was
empire styled with a high neck
and short puffed sleeves.
Heavy floral lace trimmed the
bodice, sleeves, collar, and
also formed a gored effect on
the skirt, and outlined the short
train. Lace floral designs
alternated the gores. The
matching heavy floral lace
headpiece held a fingertip veil.
She carried a bouquet of tiny
pink rosebuds, white carna-
tions. white daisies, and baby's
breath.
The brides twin sister,
Glenda, served as her maid of
honor. Standing as brides-
maids were Lyn Brigham,
sister of the bride, Suzi Evans,
cousin of the bridegroom,
