Trustees of Rusk Indepen-
dent School District will accept
sealed bids on the Mt. Hope
School building and one (1)
acre of land, all minerals
retained. Description of prop-
erty may be found in Volume
84, page 557 of the Deed
Records of Cherokee County,
Texas.
Sealed bids will be accepted
at Rusk Independent School
District Tax Office, Rusk,
Texas, until 12 noon, Dec. 16,
1974.
The trustees reserve the
right to reject any and all bids.

Guests were greeted at the
door by Mrs. Williams and
Mrs. Dick McGaughey.
The register table was
covered with yellow satin
overlaid with yellow tulle. The
round table was edged with
greenery and held an arrange-
ment of yellow pom pom mums
in a three tier silver
candlelabra holding yellow
tapers. A keepsake bride's
book and plume pen were also
placed on the table. Miss Carol
Durham, sister of the honoree,
registered guests.
A group of three round
tables, covered with yellow
satin and yellow tulle, held the
refreshments. A three tier
silver candlelabra held an
arrangements of yellow chry-
santhemums, carnations
baby's breath and greenery.
Mrs. Ike Daniel presided at
the silver punch bowl and Mrs.
Bob Clayton served the green
cake squares decorated with
yellow roses. Another table
held fruit shaped mints and
cheese balls.
The many lovely and useful
gifts to the couple were
displayed on tables covered
with yellow satin and tulle.
Each table held an arrange-
ment of fresh flowers.
