NURSING SEMINAR FOR AREA
NURSES SLATED SEPT. 21-22
The Board of Managers of Ama-
rillo Hospital District met recently
and pledged their unqualified sup-
port to the future of Northwest
Texas Hospital School of Nursing.
Of the six members voting this de-

school is vital now and in the fore-
seeable future in meeting the nurs-
ing needs of the Tri-State area.
The future of the school was
threatened by the possibility of es-

University in Amarillo. T.W.U. of-
ficials had asked for a phase-out
of the diploma schools in Amarillo
so that adeouate clinical facilities
