will be served at the United Meth-
odist Church from 5:30 p.m. until

United Methodist Youth of Groom.

New license plates for cars, pick-
ups, trucks, trailers, trailer houses,
and truck-tractors will go on sale
in Carson County next week. The
first day of February falls on Sat-
urday, and since the Courthouse is
closed on that day, the 1969 license
plates will not be available until
Monday, Feb. 3.
The vehicle owners are request-
ed to bring their 1968 license re-
ceipts and titles ’with them to the
tax office when they come in to buy
new license tags. The new plates
must be bought before April 1 and
prices will be same as they were
last year.
The 1969 license plates for all
types of vehicles will be on sale in
Groom next week at The Groom
News office.
