H'ers competed in the an-
nual Marshall Humane
Society Fun Match held
November 7 in the Mar-
shall Civic Center.
In the Beginners Sub-
Novice Obedience Class,
Kathy Moran and her dog,
Maggie, received first with
a score of 191. Brad
Stewart and his dog,
Ranger, were second with
a score of 189.
In the Regular Sub-
Novice Class, Angela
Traylor and her dog,
Angel, received a
qualifying score.
Miss Moran received a
blue for her cocker spaniel
in the Conformation Class.
Karen Thomas received a
blue for her dachsund,
Twinkie, in Conformation.

Rusk merchants will
sponsor a "Show and Sell"
event Sat., Nov. 27 in the
downtown area, according
to Jim Barr, chairman of
the chamber merchants
division.
Barr says the event is to
be staged the Saturday
following Thanksgiving
and will give area artsmen
and craftsmen an oppor-
tunity to sell their wares.
The homemade items
will be displayed at tables
outside businesses. Booth
locations will be deter-
mined at the chamber of-
fice and $1 booth permits
can be purchased at the
chamber office.
