For in the 4th War Loan, our Caddo Parish, Louisiana, employes, who were
already buying War Bonds through payroll allotments, went beyond that.
They oversubscribed their quota of additional War Bonds by enough to pay
for this $75,000 plane and nearly $10,000 more, and earned the right to name
the ship.

This airplane represents more than simply another sweep across enemy
lines to the attack. It is a fighting memorial to the employes of our Company
who have made the supreme sacrifice for freedom, and it was bought and paid
