Mrs. Ora Shaw
We think it’s the best business in this town
or any other town. If we didn’t we would change
businesses.
We think our employees are the best to be had.
They are suited to their particular jobs, and they
can put it over. If we change our mind about that
and can hire more expert help we will do that for
the benefit of our business and customers.
Our business has grown from a motherless calf
to about $100,000.00 annual volume, and we didn’t
heir it either. If you want to know, we are proud
of our business.
You can get service and information on more
different lines in our store than any other house
in town. If terms are needed, we can make them any
time, our books never close.
Often a customer looks all over this town and
other towns and then tells us: “This is the only
place we can find it.” We take pride in carrying a
well assorted stock.
Slow-movers bear a better profit than everyday
sellers, and they should—We carry them. We don’t
like to miss a sale or disappoint a customer.
Our office force makes some errors, but they
are instructed to do the right thing—to treat you
like we want to be treated. If we make
an error, we are anxious to correct it. If you make
no mistakes we want to meet you . . haven’t met a
real big liar lately.
Styles don’t change in hardware, rats and
roaches don’t eat it. It’s good today or forty years
hence.
Come to see us. Our business is a hum-dinger.
