The County ASC Committee can approve an 80%
loan on farm storage facilities. This loan can be paid
back over a period of 4 years from the first anniversary
of the loan. In actual fact the amount of storage paid by
the government on resealed loan oats and paid by the
farmer for commercial storage of loan oats will pay not
only this loan but the entire cost of the bin in less than
the five years allowed on the loan.
