Church services were well at-
tended Sunday with several visi-
tors present.
Mrs. Lenora King and son, Dale,
of Dallas visited Wednesday of
last week with Mrs. Zula Kenne-
dy and Mrs. Milton Fuller.
Mrs. Elmer Davis of Grand
Saline and Mrs. O. D. Kennedy
of Oakland attended church
here Sunday, then joined rela-
tives and friends for the Monroe
reunion at Starr. Mrs. Milton
Fuller also attended the reunion.
Sympathy is extended to the
bereaved family of Mrs. Hazel
Strickland who passed away last
Wednesday. She had a host of
friends, had lived a useful life to
her family, church and neighbors.
She will be greatly missed by all
her loved ones.
Mr. and Mrs. Don McNally of
Mesquite spent Sunday with the
Charlie McNallys.
Earl Strickland of Dallas is
visiting his sister, Mrs. Curtis
Fincher, and Mr. Fincher.
Mr. and Mrs. Grady Rushing
had their little granddaughter of
Canton visit with them over the
weekend.
Henry Seale’s daughter,
Gladys, is quite ill at his home.
Best wishes to her.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Fuller
visited Sunday evening with Mr.
and Tom Currey of Oakland.
Mr. and Mrs. James Ray Casey
and son of Lindale visited over
the weekend with the Ozell
Casey family.
Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Crabtree
and baby of Tyler visited one day
last week with Mr. and Mrs.
Nolen Crabtree.
Calvin Strickland of Dallas
visited Monday with his sister,
Mrs. Curtis Fincher.
Mrs. Anita Hunt and baby of
Albuquerque, New Mexico, and
Mrs. Courtney Everett of Long-
view spent Wednesday with Mr.
and Mrs. Mil ton Fuller and Mrs.
Zula Kennedy.

lene Foster were united in mar-
riage in the home of her parents
with relatives and friends pres-
ent Friday night at 8 o’clock

the vows. We wish them much
happiness.
A shower for Mr. and Mrs.
trank Parks will be given in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald D.
Chamblee Saturday night.
Mrs. Jeffie Crumpley and
daughter of Dallas visited J. J.
Heddin and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph
Heddin and daughters during the
weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Connie Stout,
Mrs. Ruth Abbott and Mike vis-
ited Mrs. Riley Norrell who is
still in the hospital in Dallas from
a head injury.
Mrs. R. F. Chamblee, Mr. and
Mrs. Gerald Dee Chamblee and
children and Mr. and Mrs. Gil-
bert Stout and children attend-
ed the Chamblee reunion in a
park near Kaufman Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Connie Stout had
most of their children home Sun-
day.
