A discussion was held on “A
Demonstration That Has Helped
Me” by the Canton Home Dem-
ontion Cub Nov. 18 in the home
of Mrs. A. S. Brown.
Ten members, two visitors and
one new member. Mrs. Ruth Hol-
land. were present. Each member
brought an antique and gave the
history of it. Several displayed
articles which dated back to
Cvil War days.
Mrs. Lloyd Chitty gave the
Council report. She also stated
that the new yearbooks were
ready for distribution. Mrs.
Charles Branton led the group in
pare their income tax returns
this year. Principal Liston M.
Barber says that 25 students will
receive several hours income tax
instruction early in February. In
Texas, 235,000 students will get
this training. The free material
furnished by the Income Revenue
Service will be taught by teach-
er Mrs. Charles Bass.
Ellis Campbell, district direc-
tor for Internal Revenue in the
Northern half of Texas, feels
