chicken and ham, make good
budget soups for cool weather
luncheons.
Peas and Mushroom Soup
(Makes about 2 quarts)
One-half cup butter or mar-
garine, 12 pound mushrooms,
sliced; 1 medium-sized onion,
chopped; 2 cup chopped celery,
one 1-pound can peas, 2 table-
spoons all-purpose flour, 3 cups
milk, 34 cup diced cooked ham,
salt, to taste; % teaspoon pepper,

pH was kept in the range of
6.2-65 the alfalfa produced an
average of 4 tons per acre for
five years. When the pH was rais-
ed to 70-7.3 the average yield
was nearly 5 tons of hay per
acre for the five years. The total
hay produced in five years was
20 tons for the regular lime treat-
ment compared to 24 tons for the
high lime plot.
Lime doesn’t act fast and yen
need to put it on the land at
least two to four months before
seeding, the agronomist pointed
out. If the soil is sour, lime should
be spread a year before seeding
alfalfa. You can’t tell how much'
lime is needed just bv looking at

of this suit is as follows, to-wit:
Suit fcr divorce alleging cruelty,
non-support and desertion, seek-
ing divorce, child support and
child custody and court cost, al-
leging residence in Van Zandt
county for more than 12 months,
legal marriage, permanent sepa-
ration and residence of defendant,
unknown, as is more fully shown
by Plaintiffs Petition on file it
this suit.

within ninety days after the date
