The Ben Wheeler 4-H Club
met Thursday morning at 10:15
1 o’clock in the seventh and eighth
grade room at the Ben Wheeler
I school.
The meeting was opened by
singing “America." Roll was call-
ed and minutes were read and
iapproved.
The girls discussed plans for
raising money for the King and
Queen candidates. They are Shan-
I da Shackleford and Ricky Pres-
I ton. The club decided to have a
i bake sale Saturday afternoon,
| Feb. 27.

Heddin to Charles David Dean.

The bride wore a two-piece

Mrs. Dean is the daughter of
Mrs. Billie Barlow Young of Abi-
lene and the late Olen Heddin of
Canton. She is a senior student
, in Abilene high school.
Mr .Dean is the son of Mr. and
I Mrs. Joe H. Dean of Abeline and
I is a graduate of Abilene high
I school and Hardin-Simmons Uni-
versity.
The couple is at home at 840
! Mulberry St., Abilene. After May
1 they will reside in Fort Ben-
ning, Ga., where Lt. Dean will be
stationed with the U. S. Army.

ter of Mrs. Myrtle Barlow and
