Delicate Operation
Performed Friday
On Razz Infant
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Manley
। were called to the bedside of
। their daughter, Mrs. Roger Razz,
in a Terrell hospital Tuesday
! night.
Mrs. Razz, the former Melba
Rose Manley, gave birth to a
! daughter, Tammy, early Wednes-
i day.
It was not known until Friday
1 morning that the infant was in
serious conditio. The baby uder-
| wet surgery in a Dallas hospital.
The surgeon re-routed the
I child’s complete intestinal tract
1 and a digestive tract was made
to carry food in and out of the
body. Tammy will remain under
j oxygen in a special technician’s
, room in an incubator for an in-
! definite period.
Whe Mrs. Manley left the hos-
l pital Saturday evening the doctor
said it was too early to know, but
I it is hoped that by finding it at
60 hours of age that surgery was
in time to save Tammy’s life.
Roger Razz, son of Mrs. Joe
| Razz and the late Mr. Razz, was «
a former resident of Wills Point.
