Begins Project
For Patients
A new project to help the
senior citizens of the two nur-
sing homes in Canton has been
undertaken by Mrs. Ed Plessis.
Mrs. Plessis feels that many
of the senior citizens have been
forgotten and programs could
be started to help them “help
themselves.” For example,
many interesting crafts could
be created from beads and old
jewelry, she said, to help oc-
cupy their minds as well as
hands.
“We will start by asking for
contributions of old jewelry and
beads, then go from there,”
Mrs. Plessis stated. Also,
anyone with special skills and
ideas, as well as those willing to
help are asked to contact Mrs.
Plessis or Mrs. Lois Jenkins at
Town & Country Nursing Home,
or Bob Bledsoe at Heritage
Manor.

EDITORIAL
By Gan Burns
Time is one of the biggest four
letter words used in oui
everyday life. Take this word
time, look it up in the dictionary
and already a portion of your
life will have passed the point of
no return. Time is essential for
success. Success is what
everybody dreams of, but only a
few acheive it because success
doesn't happen over night. It
takes time. Time can be
measured in so many different
ways, but the most precious
part of time is a moment. The
present moment is the only
moment you are really sure of,
so make every moment a
perfect one and your life will be
a success.
