Jimerson said he had three homes
under construction in the area and added
that he would be concerned about the
value of the properly next to a trailer

Completion of improvements on North
Adams Street is nearing the final stages
with asphalt overlay expected to start
next week, said City Manager Charles
Thomas
"Most of the concrete curbing is

base in preparation for asphalting

from West Panola Street to a point about

a two inch asphalt overlay will be paved

The city of Carthage has submitted a
$510,000 application for community
development funds for housing rehabili
tation and street paving in the eastern
part of the city
