stroyed. with lumber scattered to the
four winds.

publican nomination for United
States senator, at parently has piled
up a plurality of between 25,000 and
30,000 on the face of complete and
incomplete returns from every county
in the state.
He carried all of the 108 coun-
ties in the state.
In the republican gubernatorial
contest Henry Allen of Wichita has
secured a heavy plurality over his
three opponents and apparently car-
ried more than ninety counties, pos-
sibly 100.
On the face of returns so far re-
celved. the renomination of Senat or
W. H Thompson on the democrat-
ic ticket over George W. Marble is
assured.
W. C. Lansdon, ft is indicated, has
been nominated by the dsmocrafs as
their candidate for governor.
