According to a recent poll conducted by George
Gallup and David Poling, “Persons who fit the cate-
gory of ‘very religious’ tend to be happier, more
goal oriented, and have a higher level of achieve-
ment”
This discovery is in harmony with the statements
of Jesus: “I am come that they might have life and
that they might have it more abundantly.” (John
10:10) “I am the bread of life; He who comes
to me shall not hunger, and He who believes in
me shall never thirst." (John 6:35) “Come to me,
all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give
you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of
me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you
shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy
and my burden is light.”
You, too, can discover the happiness, purpose,
and peace of God by putting your trust in Jesus
Christ. Attend church this Sunday for encourage-
ment and instruction. Read God’s Word that he
might speak to you!
