Peanuts create quick energy which burns up calories and builds muscle. Appreciable
amounts of calcium, phosphorus, iron and magnesium are also found in peanuts.
Chipped or damaged
shelves (above) or mold-
ings can actually be re-
paired (below) or rebuilt
with a high performance
wood filler. The new prod-

Money Saving Ways With Wood

Knock on wood. Now that
it’s time to fix things up
around the house, there’s a
wood repair product that ex-
tends the traditional uses of
wood fillers from simple re-
pairs such as nail holes, nicks
and cracks, to major repair
and restoration jobs like re-
building rotted window sills.
Developed in response to
research that pointed out al-
most unanimous dissatisfac-
tion with most wood fillers on
the market, this new product
incorporates many unusual
qualities. It hardens in 15
minutes and is ready to be
surface coated in less than
half an hour. Super durable,
it can be sanded, planed,
carved, painted or stained.
Besides its superior adhesion
to wood, it moves with the
natural expansion and con-
traction of the wood—it won’t
crack, shrink, split or fall out.
High Performance Wood
Filler from Minwax Company
repairs, restores or rebuilds
virtually any wood item in
and around the home.
The product’s two-compo-
nent system allows you to mix
only as much product as
needed for a particular job,
and save the rest for future
projects.

for those out trick and

Ronnie Gothard said.
Gothard offered the fol-
lowing safety tips:
“Never use a candle to
light up a pumpkin. It
is just as spooky and less
dangerous to use a flash-
light. Remember to pur-

“Sewing light reflecting
fabric strips to costumes
is an especially good idea.
Parents should check all

letting children eat them.
Report anything suspicious
to the police. And lastly
having a Halloween party
to keep the children off the
street and away from cars
is a fun alternative to
trick or treating door to
