Your recognition of my cooperation in the last issue of The
Jewish Herald-Voice was certainly generous and gracious. I do
appreciate your thoughtfulness, but please know that it was our
pleasure to have you here.
The Dallas Jewish Federation is delighted that through your
visit your readership benefited from the eloquent words of Abba
Eban.

In your story on the JDC moving its headquarters from Tel Aviv
to Jerusalem, which appeared in your issue of Jan. 16, you inad-
vertently used the wrong first name for our executive vice-chairman.
His name is Ralph I. Goldman and not Robert L. Goldman. Since it
was a JTA release it was obviously not your fault. I wonder if you
would be good enough to print a correction.

EDGAR GOLDBERG 1908 1936 = DAVID H WHITE - 1936-1972
We are being confused with thoughts of renewal of
travel to our south-of-the-border state. This is due to the
Mexican government’s continuous support of Soviet and
Arab ambitions to subvert the freedom interests of the
United States. The current picture is clouded by a call
from the Conference of Presidents of Major American
Jewish Organizations to normalize relations with Mexico.
Perhaps David Gertner, a member of the national exec-
utive committee of the Jewish War Veterans, is right when
he insists that Mexico should show some evidence of a
"concrete” change in attitude towards its concept of
Zionism.
The sudden resignation of U.N. Ambassador Daniel
Patrick Moynihan does not indicate that we should nor-
malize our relations with the voting Soviet Bloc.
