bulldozer backed over him while
he was working on the Everett
Slaughter farm Friday.

gery there Wednesday.

man has been the guest of her
brother-in-law and sister, Mr.
and Mrs. John Bandy.
The F.H.A. girls honored their
mothers and faculty members
with a tea Tuesday, April 5th
from 7:30 to 9 at the homemak-
ing cottage. The table was deco-
rated with a white cloth with
F.H.A. lettered across the front.
The Easter motiff was carried
out. Hostesses were Quincy Sher-
ley and Jackie Leggett. "Punch,
cake and coffee servers were
Regina Clark and Brenda Rol-
lins.
Mrs. Pearl Pair is seriously ill

Mrs. Ida Pearl Pair, 76, of Anna
died Tuesday in Collin Memori-
al Hospital. She was born in
Howe December 19, 1883, daugh-
ter of Flat and Lenora Carpen-
ter Clemon.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs.

Lee Douglas Spruill, 62, died
at his home, 1304 North College
Street, Tuesday. Services were
held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the
North Baptist Church, Rev. Mil-
ton Greer of Dallas and Rev.
George Kemp, pastor officiating,
with interment in I.O.O.F. Ceme-
tery at Farmersville. Crouch-
Moore Funeral Home has charge
of rarangements.
He was born in Farmersville
December 28, 1897, the son of A.
G. and Addie E. Johnson Spruill.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
L. D. Spruill of McKinney; two
daughters, Miss Bonnie Spruill,
McKinney, Mrs. Christian Reyn-
