Mrs. Lewis Brinlee has return-
ed to her home in Houston after
attending the bedside of her fa-
ther, Ben Johnson, who contin-
ues to show improvement, follow-
ing recent surgery.
Mrs. Jack Lair of Richardson
spent Thursday here with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hag-
in.
Mrs. Eck Brown and Mrs. Bill
Reno attended the funeral of Mrs.
L. A. Ford of Dallas which was
held at Earnhart Funeral Chapel
at Whitewright Wednesday. Mrs.
Ford was a former resident of
Anna.

tack of the flu. We are sorry he
is ill and hope he will soon show

returned home from a four days
visit with her daughters, Mrs.
Joan Swalwell and Mrs. Frank
Crossen at Dallas. While there
Mrs. Hendricks attended the
birthday party of her grand-
daughter, Eve Swalwell.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Hibbitts and
little son, Curt, of Grapevine,
spent the past weekend with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy
Holland.
Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Gutgsell
and children of Austin were week
end guests of Mrs. Eck Brown.
Mrs. Allison Crank was able
to work at the McKinney Textile
Mills Monday following a short
stay in Wysong Hospital where
she underwent tests.
Miss Ermyne Blevins of Green-
ville and Mr. and Mrs. Billy
Parks of McKinney were among
the weekend guests of Mrs. J. C.
Parker.
Mrs. Lillian Powell is a patient
at Wysong Hospital at this time.
We hope she returns home soon
