service schools and while at the U. S. Army
War college in Carlisle Pennsylvania secured
his Master of Arts in International Affair. He
is currently assigned as a staff officer on the
Army Staff, Headquarters Department of the
Army. Mrs. Graves is the former Marguerite
K. Adams of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Col-
onel and Mrs. Graves and their six children
reside in Fairfax, Virginia, He attended Melissa
Public School and graduated from McKinney
High School.

Melissa is congratulated by Brigadier General
James Collins after receiving the insignia of his
new rank August 22, at the Pentagon, Washing-
ton, D. C. Col. Graves entered the service while
a senior in Texas A&M in 1943 and has been on
continuous active duty since. He has had over-
seas assignments in WWII in Europe Aug. '44-
Jan. ’46, Mil Mission to Greece in 1947-48, Korea
1951-52 and Germany 1960-63. While in the
service he has completed his BA degree at the

Hopkins formerly lived. We wel-

School Auditorium at 7:30 P.M.
