HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL
POSTER CONTEST
INFORMATION
The Boerne P-TA will again
sponsor the annual Halloween
Poster Contest. Posters must
be turned in by Tuesday, Oct.
14. Students are asked to turn
their posters in to their teach-
ers, and teachers are asked to
send the posters to the Ele-
mentary School Cafeteria af-
ter the lunch hour on Tuesday.
Prizes:
2nd and 3rd grades — First
prize, $1.00 and ribbon; second
prize, 75 cents and ribbon*
third prize, 50 cents and rib-
bon; fourth prize, honorable
mention ribbon.
4th and 5th grades — Same
as above.
Jr. High — Same as above.
Most Outstanding (in all
three divisions), $1.25 and rib-
bon.
MR. BEN RODRIGUEZ
PASSES AWAY.
Just as we go to press we
learn that MR. Ben Rodriguez
passed away.
Rosary was held Wednes-
day at 8 p.m. in the Angelus
Funeral Home with services
Thursday (to-day) at 10 a.m.
at the Holy Rosary Church in
San Antonio.
Mr. Rodriguez owned and
operated the Blue Tag Food
Store in Boerne.
An obituary will be print-
ed next week.
