New Pledge Cards to Be Signed.
Mrs. Roger Roberdeau, president of
the Austin Housewives league, will
have charge of the food registration
cards. It seems that through some
misunerstanding the rood conserva-
tion pledges signed by Austin women
last summer never reached their des-
tination and the work to to be done
ever. As it is very important that
every town be heard from, Mrs Rob-
erdeau has consented to do the work
for Austin.
In this connection it may be in-
teresting to know that Mrs. Wilson,
"the first lady of the land." was, as
she should be, the first to sign her
conservation pledge card received
from Mr Hoqxer and she herself took
the bit of pasteboard and hung it in
the white house dining-ropm in the

Calomel is poison—it's mercury—it attacks the
