Navy Journal.

IL G. ’’lay of Dublin and A. L. Becker |
of Taylor.
This is a record of 75 per cent, I
whereas the statistics show that usual- j
ly only about 30 per cent of the can- 1
didates pass the examinations.
Flood is a graduate of Cleburne
high school, where he edited the Sao- J
ta Fe Trail, the school annual. In 1916. 1
He then entered the employ of the J
Santa Fe road in the electrical de- l
partment and was granted a year’s 1
leave of absence to study electrical 1
engineering here, where he has made j

He was the highest ranking appli- ]
