tle and 5<0 calves found an out-
let by noon Tuesday.
Steers of light and medium
weight were disposed of on a
s(rr>ng basis, but heavy steers were
only steady and on other kinds of
cattle the market was in line with
yeterday’s basis.
Calves were purchased st steady
prices.
Shippers paid $9.40 for good
hogs and packers secured several
cais at a range of 89.30 to 89.86.
the market being active at an ad-
vance of 5 to 10 cents.
Most of the run of 1200 head
went at $8.50 to 39 25.

Pig trading dragged on a barely .
