One Sunday when a couple of A
Tournapulls were leveling a hillside,
Employment Mgr. Maurice Seay
brought his daughter Maureen, 12, to
visit the plant. She went home and
wrote:
It happened down where Daddy works,
The LeTourneau plant by name,
That two ferocious monsters
Were playing a sort of game.
They were digging into a hillside,
And seemed to be having a race
Of who could dig up the most dirt,
And haul it some other place.
I shook with fear and drew aside,
Till Daddy did explain,
'Twas just a machine that R.G. built
To cause the Axis pain.
