Retiring at the end of '45, 7 Le-
Tourneau Co. of Georgia workers
aged 65 or more were honored at
plant chapel services 12/27/45. In
the top photo 5 of the veterans, day
shift men, are congratulated publicly
by General Mgr. Jack Salvador on
their years of faithful service. From

cupations they were leaving. At left,
John M. Farmer, nite resale clerk,
shows a line of work shirts to one of
the boys. At right, James Henry, nite
cafeteria manager, punches the cash
register.
OFFERS NYLONS FOR BAIT
Determined to get a turnout to its
annual meeting, which usually draws
only a handful of its 1410 members,
the LeTourneau Credit Union at
Peoria is offering, as door prizes,
nylon hose and other awards.
At the meeting, 4:30 p.m. 1/17, on
3rd floor of building W, '46 officers
will be elected and '45 dividends
declared.
Two women will receive nylon
hose, and the 4 men winning door
prizes will get shirts and eversharp
pencils.
PEORIA RETIRES 24 AT 65
Twenty-four employes who have
passed the age of 65, were including
10 from tool cribs, retired by the Peo-
ria plant as of 12/29/45. The em-
ployes leaving are:
Tool Cribs: George Sipp, WilliamComerford. George Diehl, Asa Hen-
dryx. Fred Schaefer, Samuel Green,
John Brand, William Boggs, Albert
Askins, and Elmer Lewellen. Janitors:
Frank Larsen, Frank Kelso, Joseph
H. Martin, and Levi -Thompson.
Reclamation: C. A. Baer, Charles Gar-
land, John F. Williams, and James
Booth; Building maintenance: Law-
rence Rodgers. Dozers (a): Henry

her men, who were on military leave
of absence to the armed forces. Ex-
cept as noted, they returned to the
same work they left.
