Parish said that a fair share
is at least one hour’s pay per
month from hourly rated em-
ployees and 1 to 2 per cent of
annual income from salaried
persons.
Parish said that while thou-
sands of contributors were mak-
ing fair-share gifts, the UF
board, in setting up the 1959
goal, took into consideration
that there are some who would
not be able to give as gen-
erously as they would like be-
- cause of the economic recession.
