The Orchard PTA met in reg-
ular session on November 16, in
the Orchard Elementary gym-
nasium. Invocation was given
by Rev. Ben Behrens, and the
meeting was conducted by Mrs.
Frank Kellner, president. Mrs.
Sidney Talley read the minutes
and gave the treasurer’s report,
which were approved as given.
The PTA voted to take the
census for 1965 if given the
opportunity. Usefulness of the
PTA was discussed and acqui-
sition of teacher aides, addition-
al library books, and other
items, as a PTA project was ta-
bled for further discussion.
