at the Agricultural Hall. The
senior class and their sponsors,
superintendent and principal
were invited.
Barbecued hamburgers with
all the trimmings were placed
on one table, and a centerpiece
consisting of 21 blue carnations
with greenery and a variety of
cakes graced another table
covered with a dark blue and
white cover.
After the meal each senior
honored received a blue
carnation bearing their name.

Saturday came the sad news
of the death of Lynwood
Andreas, son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Andreas, and
brother of Mrs. A. G. Kollat-
schny. Lynwood was ailing for
sometime, fighting cancer with
a vigorous fight, but lost out in
the end. Funeral services were
held in Houston, where he and
his wife worked and lived, and
burial and graveside services
were held at the Lutheran
cemetery here Monday after-
noon.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Zubicek
became grandparents, when a
little son, Eric Matthew, was
born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Zubicek of Sealy Saturday.
Congratulations to all. and also
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard
Szymanski of Sealy.
