Cheese Cenapoe One eup grated
cheese, one teaspoon salt, dash of
red pepper, six slices buttered bread.

which the seasoning has been added.
Bake in oven until the eheese is
melted and serve at once.
Comsomme— (Thia recipe makes
enough to last several days)—Two
pounds lean beef, one small knuckle
veal, two tablespoons butter, one
small onion, one stalk celery, one
acrrot, one bay leaf, two quarts wa-
ter. Cut the beef and veal Into
small pieces and brown them in the
butter over a hot Arc. Add the cold
water, onion, earrot. celery and bay
leaf. Simme@alowly for fve or six
hours in a covered kettle. Take
from Are. remove the fat and strain.
Reheat whenever ready to serve.
