BRADY-DEPEW.
A quiet honde wedding lvfytin l
its simplicity was solemnized at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. S. M Depew.
Sr., on Saturday evening at 7:30
when Miss Margaret Depew became
the bride of Mr. Hope Brady, Rev.
W R. Brown, pastor of the First I
Baptist church reading the lines
that made them one.
The home had been cleverly ar- |
ranged with beautiful coral vines 1
and ferns, and formed a lovely set- !
ting for the occasion.
Only a few of the intimate friends j
o fthe contracting parties and the
family witnessed the ceremony, and
immediately following a reception
was held during which time much
merriment took place as the happy
pair received congratulations and J
beet wishes of those present. .
The bride was never more charm-'
ing than she was on her wedeim
day. Attired in a smart little frock I
of dark brown cap ten crepe; she I
won her way into the hearts of ain
who were around on this one won-1
derful occasion. She is a youngl
lady of lovable disposition and has
many friends in Orange where she I
has lived all of her life, and where I
for the past few years she has held I
a responsible position in the Gulf I
Coast freight officesg- i
The groom is likewise a young ! I
man of sterling qualities and has
many friends in Orange. He is at I
present connected with the Lutcher,

BKRTHA COLLARS AGAIN
Very wide bertha collar* are belnc
shown for autumn wear. When they
are of the sort that come with the
drew they are often made of the
material itself and trimmed with em-
broidery or beading.
When they are of the detachable
variety they are usually made of
sheer lace or net trimmed with lace.
They open front and back or only
in the back.
The soft transparent folds of the
very wide ones are most becoming—
from which it to safe to argue that
tbeir new popularity is assrede
Afternoon, evening, daytime and
